A repeat episode in which Kirstie and Phil visit the Tyne Valley near Newcastle, trying to knock a couple of rough diamonds into shape. First up are property virgins Kerry Ellis and Michael Byrne. This canny pair are determined not to hang around at the bottom of the property ladder. At the tender ages of 25 and 26 they've saved a healthy deposit and have a budget of £150,000, so they're on a mission to spend, spend, spend! 

The trouble is that Michael works in Newcastle and Kerry's based in Manchester, so house hunting has been impossible. Meanwhile, David and Kate Whitehead are no newcomers to the property game. Having transformed their current home into the perfect pad, David and Kate were rudely interrupted by the arrival of their daughter Amelie. With Kate pregnant again they're hunting for a rural home with a garden. They're in desperate need of Kirstie's help to score between the property posts and stop this search turning into a real slog on the Tyne!
